I have been tasked to EDM Wire a tapered spline. Before I can code it I have to create the model. I have modeled the tapered bore using a revolve and then sketched a tooth form on the top face. Because the tooth form gets smaller as it moves down the bore I had to sketch a smaller tooth form on the opposite face as well.
Try as I might I can`t get the tooth form to loft, probably because it is intersecting the revolved model, which it has to in order to eventually cut the tooth in the bore.
How do I cut the tooth in the tapered bore when it is itself a tapered tooth?
