I would like to know various constraints for designing an inlet diffuser for a Jet fuel tank. Tank dia is 45m with inflow of 3000 cu.m per hr. From various standards i understand that velocity constraint is 3 ft/s (approx 1m/s). Kindly enlighten me with other design criterias and your valuable suggestions
