Tangential Discontinuities

All of a sudden, we are having issues with the Geometry Check sending back errors of Tangential Discontinuities. This even on a simple extruded block? What drives this type of error? What could we have changed that may have altered how Pro/E sees the surfaces of the model? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
