Symbols are drawn 1:1 (actual size) as you do in making your drawings in AutoCAD. If you used the symbols in a drawing as a block, the insertion scale will take care of the size of the symbol in the drawing. If you want the symbol to appear as 1:1 when plotted, then you insert it using the plot scale.
