In NX 8.5.1.3 I have two plates in 1 assembly.
When I subtract a false body in 1 plate and add a symbolic thread, it shows as a dashed line.
When I do this in the other plate, the symbolic thread shows as a solid line.
Is there a setting in the part file to change to get the dashed line?

On the drawing view it shows up this way ?

I have that happen in NX 8. Not sure why.

In my experience, symbolic threads usually showed up as a solid line with one break when looking at the true fiew of the hole in drafting views. I never looked into a fix for this as we used the Hole Chart for GM, so I would delete the symbolic threads and let the hole chart create the threads in drafting.

If you do not use the hole chart, it may be in the Preferences, Visualization under the Line tab. You might be able to control how large the dashes are. Though this is just my guess as I have not checked to see if this would fix that particular problem.

Also, if you have edges behind edges turned on in the view settings, it might cause the dashed lines to look solid if there are two of them (one in front of the other) in the view.
