Can symbols be added to the symbol libary? I would like to add the omega symbol.

Were is the symbol libary located within Solidworks?

If you just want to use the omega symbol in a note or the like, try pressing and holding the alt key, and entering 0937 on the number pad and then releasing the alt key. That should give you an upper case omega. The lower case one is 0969. Also check out thread559-147251.
