Sweep boss/base issue

Hi all,

ive run into a problem in solidworks.. im trying to create a half circle using sweep boss/base but i cannot get the ending end of the sweep to finish straight

it always finishes on an angle ive posted a picture of the issue.. if anyone knows how to solve this...

Sweep vs. Loft

Jeff,

Make a separate sketch for each end. Then make two sketches for your arc'd guide curve.
Use LOFT instead of SWEEP.
LOFT the two end sketches together using both arc sketches as guides.
