SW08 - Cant select lines in a drawing

I have a drawing with a cropped view on it.
There seems to be an invisible horizontal line through the view, below which I can not select any edges.
Vertical lines which cross this "invisible line" can be selected above the line, but not below.
I cant select the edges, or dimension them, or coincident a sketch entity to them.
If I right click on an edge and go "select other", there is no mention of the edge.
The rest of the view behaves as it should.
I can show the sketch and dimension off that, but I shouldnt have to.
The part is a single extrusion so its not very complicated.

Anyone know how or why this occured?
The view was fine when i first created it. This problem appeared after a period of time.

Is the invisible line associated with the location of the sketch used for the crop? If so, you may be able to enlarge the crop. Have you tried closing SW down and restarting it? Or maybe rebooting your workstation? Good luck.

Does this happen to cropped views of other parts or just this particular one?

Can you zip the part and drawing and post here?

Are you using SP5?

Are you using SW approved video card and driver?

You were correct helbling.
I modified the crop sketch and I can now select the lines I wanted to.
It appears that there is an invisible internal offset from the crop sketch of ~8mm, outside of which no edges can be selected.

I am using SP0.0 at the moment, so ill assume its just 1 of the many bugs.

I have always (SW 2004 - 2008) run into this issue.
Pain in the rear. You need to adjust the crop or detail circle to get the selections made. After dimensions are applied you can reverse the view adjustment. If anyone knows a cure I would be most appreciative.
