I was wondering if any one could help me? Let me explain my problem. I would like to use SW works for the design of a multi radius curve. I want to know if I can somehow extract the cure and point coordinate information out of SolidWorks to an excel file where I can analyze some of the values. Then after a few calculations I want to update the SW with new data points. I used to use AutoCAD to get the line and point information from the dxf files but now I would like to use SW. I have some experience with the SW API but it all involves imputing thing into SW and I have never come across outputting values from SW. Is the output of dimensions and values possible using API in SW?
