SW crashes always once

I have strange problem with SolidWorks.



It crashes every time I start doing something with it. After starting
SW, it takes usually 2-5 minutes to crash. And this happens every time
I start to work. I nowadays wait for first crash before start doing
anything which needs major work.



After first crash, it works just fine. Strange...

I have workstation SW2005 sp02 .

Have you cleaned out your Temp folder (SW Back-ups) lately? Sometimes if you get a large volume ofback-up files it will cause the computer to crash. I clean my temp folder everynight before going home. Just a suggestion.

Did not help. But I try not if it starts working when I disble autosave.

I did not see it earlier but, you are running SW2005, SP2.0? Maybe upgrading to SP5.0 might solve the issue. I'm using SW2005, SP5.0. I dorecall, if I remember correctly there was problem of crashing when SW2005 first came out. This might help in reducingyour crashes. Hope this helps.
