SW cam mate

I'm running SW 2000 and so I don't have the cam mate that SW2001 apparently has. I get an error about the types of features allowed to be mated when I try to mate a roller and a cam profile with a tangent mate. Does anyone know of a way around this or a product that can do it such as from Camnetics or other?
