SW 2007 Task Scheduler and PDMWorks Workgroup Problem

I am doing my test install of SolidWorks 2007. I have SolidWorks and SolidWorks Explorer installed and I can log into and access our PDMWorks Workgroup server from both.

However, when I start the SolidWorks Task Scheduler, the "Update PDMWorks Workgroup Files" and "Print PDMWorks Workgroup Files" tasks are not present in either the side bar, or the Tasks menu.

Additional details:
SolidWorks was installed from an admin image that I created from SP0.0 CDs and then upgraded to SP2.2 using the patch. Previous versions of SolidWorks were uninstalled from the computer before installation, and the anti virus was turned off.

Anyone have those options available to them, or have ideas what I have done wrong?

Eric,
I have those buttons. I am running SolidWorks 2007 SP 2.2 as a user and administrator. My question to you is do you have the PDM administrator software install on your machine?

Thanks for the replies.

I had the PDMWorks client and vault admin installed as part of the SolidWorks Explorer set up, and both seemed to work. I had fought with finding command line arguments for an automated install of SolidWorks Explorer which included the client and vault admin.

With confirmation that I should have those selections available, I manually reinstalled SolidWorks Explorer. Those tasks then appeared. So I changed my command line arguments for the automatic install and it seems to be working now.

For anyone else who might be fighting with this, the command that I found which seems to work for installing SolidWorks Explorer, with the PDMWorks client and vault admin is:
Code:
msiexec /i "SolidWorks Explorer.msi" /qn INSTALLDIR="C:\Program Files\SolidWorks 2007" ADDLOCAL=All EXPLORERORPDM=1

I also found that if in the registry at: [tt]HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SolidWorks\SolidWorks 2007\PDMWorks\Clients[/tt], the value [tt]EXPLORERORPDM[/tt] is defined and equal to [tt]0[/tt], the client and vault will not be installed by the above command. This will be the case if SolidWorks Explorer had been installed previously without the client and vault admin. The fix for that is to set its value to [tt]1[/tt].
