Surface preparation for CRES

Hi! It's our intention to create a part that has a CRES/SMC composite union. It's basically two sheets joined facte-to-face

I am not that wise in the subject, and I would like any orientation into what kind of surface treatment should we apply to the CRES sheet for optimal mechanical bonding properties and corrosion protection.
