HI, I AM TRYING TO APPLY SURFACE LOAD ON ELEMENTS, AS THE FOLLOWING,

*Elset, elset=__PickedSurf7_E1, internal, instance=Part-1-1
1, 2, 21, 64
*Surface, type=ELEMENT, name=_PickedSurf7, internal
__PickedSurf7_E1, E1

ANY IDEA, WHAT DOES THE 'E1' MEANT? THANKS.

E1 is the edge identifier for the surface. It defines which direction is positive for the surface. Section 2.3.2 of the Users Manual lists the different type of element edge and face identifiers to use when defining surfaces.
