Is this possible?

Sure would be nice to have for smart flexible assemblies.

Are you aware of the suppress component by expression ?

Yup... I've used that a lot in the past.

I guess I could use it on patterned parts. Suppressing parts in the assembly browser just isn't the clean solution I'm looking for.

Assemblies that normally operate with 2 or more parts in a pattern work great, but sometimes it's just 1 req'd. When it is I just manually suppress the pattern by unchecking it.
I is a feature of sorts tho, even if it's not in the feature tree. Not being able to suppress by expression is a bit of an oversight I think.
