Suppress by layer

Not urgent but I remember years ago I would add a feature that was patterned to a layer like a cut with draft and rounds and thus suppress by layer. Went to look for that 10 years later and can locate how to suppress by layer. Worked good too. Anyone recall adding that to their workflow on heavy patterned parts?

I can only speak for Wildfire 1.0 and newer. Since that point I do not think it has been capable of suppressing a layer. You can suppress items collected by a layer by RMB on the layer -> select items -> suppress. However if a new item is added to the layer, it will not automatically suppress.
