Hi guys,

I need to put superheat value to datasheet for psv of the seal gas heater...

Could you please advise how can I define the superheat?

Check your utility supply information for what superheated steam you are using. There is no way any of us could answer that for you.

I can take what "SeanB" said a little further.

I assume we are talking about a steam relief case. At the controlling scenario for sizing you will have determined not only the flow but the relieving pressure (set pressure + allowable overpressure) and a co-incident temperature. Go to the steam table and look up the saturated steam temperature that corresponds to your relieving pressure. The difference between the co-incident relieving temperature and this saturated temperature is the degrees of superheat the PSV specification is looking for.
