Hi all
We run a CRU unit with a Pt-Sn bimetallic catalyst. Recently we faced sulfur slippage into our CRU reactors due to disturbance in our Hydrotreater section. The designer(IFP) says, that after sulfur slippage, the COT has to be reduced and Hydrogen sweeping has to be done till the recycle gas shows a permanent decrease in H2S. Why is it so? Is is because that sweeping of sulfur is effective at a lower COT?
