Hi All,
Currently I am a Stress Engineer at Ge Aviation UK with over two years of experience. I want to do EngD in order to improve my studies and personal development. Rise in promotion and CEng status are added benefits. After searching for almost 1 year or so, I could not find suitable EngD in my related field. Now I've been informed about an EngD project for nano materials, their damage tolerance and electrical aspects. I have reasonable knowledge about the CFRPs, damage tolerance, but it's still slightly away from my field. My questions are:
1) Will it be appropriate for me to go for it?
2) How do I convince them through my CV and basically Cover Letter that I am the most suitable candidate?
Many Thanks in advance.
Kind Regards
Moazzam
