Has anyone ever used a global tet model to drive a hex submodel?
Reason I ask is I found a substantial difference in reaction force in my submodel as a result - about 6%.
Only explanation I can come up with is the difference in stiffness between these element types.
Does anyone else have any similar experience in this area?
Thanks,
Mark.
