I am working on a project with a high water table - it is almost a wetland with a water table at around 12" below the ground. I dont want homeowners complaining about soggy yards nor do I want the road base in water. I could fill the entire site but then all the trees would die.
We will be able to dig some lagoons in the development that will have the static water roughly 5' below natural ground. This would provide us a place to outlet our subdrainage to. The soil is sandy and will respond to drainage well. Can anyone point me in the right direction for designing a subsurface drainage system for the this residential subdivision. Or if you feel that this is a bad idea please let me know.
