Do you know the relationship between tensile stregth and thread pitch in the bolt?
Thank you.
(I'm searching the results of Haas, but I'm not really able to find anything).

Bolt ultimate tensile strength Pult = (Ftu)(Ats), where Ftu = bolt material ultimate tensile strength, Ats = bolt tensile stress area = 0.25(pi)(Dts^2), and Dts = bolt tensile stress diameter. Dts = Dn - 0.938194p for metric bolts and Dts = Dn - 0.974279p for imperial bolts, where Dn = nominal bolt diameter and p = thread pitch.

Thank you very much.
Anyway I'm still searching about 'Haas' who, I guess, has made some investigations about the performance of the bolt varying the geometry of the thread but it's quite difficult to find articles, books or somethingelse.

...ehm ehm...I know my english is 'terrible' but I'm trying to improve and this forum is a great experience.
thank you again (frenc, an italian young engineer)!
