Structural
Anyone have any structural information, circa 1958 construction, regarding steel studs, 2 & 5/16" deep that would nest into a 2.5" steel stud track? Just wondering what gages and strengths might have been used back then for an equipment building closure wall on the roof of a retirement facility. The gage of the studs is not called out.
They are also showing what appear to be 1.5" deep "B" deck welded to two of these back to back with plug welds at 24" OC, but of an unspecified diameter. These back to back C's appear to be stiffeners for the steel deck wall as both span vertically.
None of my present steel stud catalogs have steel studs that shallow in section.
