I am looking at an old floor framing drawing, and some of the structural beams are shown as "14 3 22". Others beams are shown in format such as "W14 WF 34", which I am reading as W14x34.

Do anyone know what shape/ size "14 3 22" refers to?

Thanks!

Could it be a 14 B 22?

later called a B14x22 and now W14x22...

It's probably a 14B22. It is a narrow flanged I beam

W14 WF 34 is unusual, at one point they were 14WF34, then they switched to W14x34.

The old drawings were a bit blurry, but it is 14 "B" 22.

Thank you all for the help!
