I have done lots of searching. Where can I purchase a decent hand held strobe light that has variable frequency adjustment? Are there any distributors in the US that sell them?

McMaster-Carr sells them, enter "stroboscope" in the search bar. Probably same search word would work in google or Amazon as well.

What will the strobe light be used for? And what frequency is required from the strobe light? Is manual control of the strobe frequency acceptable, or do you need to control the strobe using some other form of input?
