I want to know the lateral stress relation which i got it from the following equation .
X(y,z)={1-(coshky/coshkl)}.....z(</=)h eff
where X=khi function.
I saw this in one paper :"The Application of nanostructuring and substrate compliance to the heterroepitaxy of mismatchd semiconductors materials".
I exactly want to know how we got this realation . Searched in many research papers , but dint get any information.
