I want to generate a full stress strain curve without any experimental data.
Just with Force, initial Area and material properties like the modulus of elasticity, I would like to plot a stress strain curve of both the linear region an non-linear region of different materials.
This does not have to give the same values as what experimental plot would. I know many materials have defects that give results that would different from an ideal theoretical calculation.
What is the process of generating a theoretical model of a stress vs strain of a material that is stretched?
