Hey all!
I have modeled a beam composed by two different profiles, a pipe and an arbitrary profile which is like a pipe with a damage. For all I chose section integration before analysis. When the job is completed the visualization of Von Mises stresses is not what I was expecting.
I applied a compressive displacement on the beam and it seems that regardless of the load, the damaged part is always red (see attachment) It should be something like a color gradient.
Could anyone help me to solve this problem, please?
