Storage of turbomachinery spare rotors

Normally, the rotors have its own containers to be stored vertically.
Inside is filled with silica.
The surface can be coated with anti corrosion spray.
The burnish surface (probe sensing area) can be covered with DENSO tape.
Purge the container with nitrogen to achieve as low as possible oxygen level.
Pressurize the container up to 0.5 barG (or refer to the name /specification plate).
Make sure everything (including loose items) is secured properly.
Beware to follow the proper lifting procedures.
