equilibrating a stoichiometric equation requires a pen, a paper, and a brain.
if you speek french, you can go here: other wise, equilibrate all the elements except hydrogen and oxygen. Then, adjust oxygen, and finally hydrogen.

My B.S. thesis produced a program for balancing equations mathematically, proving at the same time that chemical methods were mere shortcuts that not always offered all the possible answers. Unfortunately it runs in Pascal and MS Dos. If you need it, I can try sending it to you... Oh, and it is in spanish.
