What are the design requirements for stiffening girders of cable-stayed bridges ?Any deflection limitations ?

Typically the live load deflection should not exceed 1/800 (AASHTO 10.6) of the span, for short and medium span bridges, for longer spans ~1/500 could be used (AASHTO 10.41.4.8.1).
