Being a bulk coater I need to use barrels to hold my parts during the painting process. But this creates a interesting problem in that the hubs of the barrels are in the bath the whole time the parts are painting. I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with keeping ecoat out of rotating parts. I know that I could stop the problem if I could simply isolate the bearing from current, but how do you move 500V at 500A though a slipring small enough to fit into a tight tank and then keep paint from coating and jamming the slipring. Another way would be to coat the hubs with teflon or the like, but what coating can hold up to 500-600lbs rotating on top of it.
Any help or discussion greatly appreciated.
