Hi
I am doing a steel I section section as a pile, will drill a hole and then place it and pour concrete not the driven one.
IS any requaltion for the corossion ?
I can paint it but would prefer not to if not required as it is having a enough concrete cover

See this link: A Corrosion Protection Guide For Steel Bearing Piles in Temperate Climates

Steel W, M, and S shapes have webs that are thinner than the flanges for all but but smallest sizes. Whatever the corrosion rate, expect the web to be compromised first.

Each HP shape has web and flanges the same thickness so that the web should have the same life as the flanges.
