Steam/water to flare line

I have an after condersor with cooling water on tube side and steam on shell side. I am designing a relief valve for the tube rupture scenario. My question is, Can I connect my relief valve outlet to the flare line.
I know its highly impossible, but can anyone give me a reason to do it.
