Application: Globe valve for Steam Applications
Design Question: I am focusing on a piston ring or graphite ring sealing scheme. Are there design publications available? Any insight into designing high pressure/high temperature steam stem seals would be helpful.
Right now the method to determine amount of leakoff is solely via testing, an expensive alternative to analytical solns.
