Hi All

Can any body help me with the following I am sizing a water filler steam accumulator i.e. ruths type and usually I use the following relationship (hf1-hf2)/hg where hf1 is the enthalpy of the high pressure fluid, hf2 is the enthalpy of the low pressure fluid ie discharge condition and hg is enthalpy of the steam used to charge the accumulator. A colleague has suggested that hg should actually be hfg the latent heat of evaporation in place of hg. Can any body please advise?
