Status won't change

We have a large assembly that a number of designers were working on. The status was changed to "In Work" once the designer started.

When it came time to change the status to "Released", the other status options would not show as selectable. This occurs at the Designer's computer, and at any computer where the Designer logs in. Even logging in as an Administrator (NT Network) will not help.

We never noticed this happen before and were quite surprised when it did.

Note:
1.) We are currently running Update 4 and have just received Update 5)
2.) We are NOT running Insight

Has anyone run into this before?

If sub-components of your assembly are not released yet, you will not be able to check the entire assembly as released, you have to start down and go up your tree.
