Hello,
I have an application were I can use a static crush type seal or a static face seal and I was wondering if there was any thoughts of which type is better. I have been reading info on both and the only thought was that crush seals were intended for high pressure joints in hydraulics for subset applications. The joint seal I have will see 3000psi which is higher than the standard 1500 but I would not consider it extremely high. Any thoughts?
