Dear friends, I need the design specification of "Starter Clutch Mechanism" of any aircraft jet engine, ie. input power, rpm, gear ratio, materials, dimension etc. please refer me any source or provide me with infos if u can...thank u all in advance....

My guess is that it depends A LOT on which engine you are working on. They run the gamut from small RC turbines up to 747 "monsters"!!

I can't think of a single aircraft turbine engine that uses a "clutch" to engage the starter.

enlighten me, anyone?
