I am researching standard views used for solid modeling. Would appreciate input from the various industries (automotive, aerospace, etc.).



Anyone aware of Standards that exist (SAE,ANSI, etc.)?

ASME Y14.2M-1992 Line Conventions and Lettering

ASME Y14.3M-1994 Multiview and Sectional View Drawings

ASME Y14.5M-1994 Dimensioning and Tolerancing



All industries use some form of these standards.
