Is it standard practice these days, in Ontario, to specify low shrinkage (0.04% shrinkage strain) concrete for stacker warehouse slab-on-grade floors, as per the option in CSA A23.1?
What is the current practice in Ontario Canada, with respect to specifying a shrinkage strain for the concrete for stacker warehouse floors?
What is the current practice in other areas, such as say:
- Florida, USA
- New York state
- or anywhwre else
We are designing a steel fibre reinforced floor, but irresepctive of the steel fibres or not, it seems to me that the low shrinkage concrete should be considered, so I am interested if anyone has knowledge of current practice.
