Hi all
I have encountered something that I vaugly remember doing in Nastran. Or perhaps it was in another software
, I'm not sure.
Basically, a simple example, build a structure 5 levels high, add loads and analyze. Add another 5 levels but now I want the results (stresses, forces, displacements) from the first analysis as initial conditions for the second. And so on for a longer sequence.
The analsis types that are of interest is static, nonlinear static and eigenfrequencies.
Does anybody know of a tutorial or other example? Is it even possible?
Ideas would be appreciated.
Thomas
