I am working for a Structural Fabricator. We use SDS/2 detailing software. The Engineering firm out of Atlanta, GA we are working with uses STAAD Pro Design Software. Our SDS software is supposed to be able to convert the STADD files into CIs/2 Files. Everytime we receive a model from them, we cannot open it. The error message we receive states, "No memeber sizes found". Our tech supports tells us that the model is Incomplete, but the engineer in ATL says the model is complete. Anyone got any advice??

The engineer using STAAD could open his STAAD project file into STAAD Pro and then export a CIS/2 file. Export is available from the "File" menu.
