STAAD "Member Truss" command

I have modeled a structure as a space frame and now need to identify some members as a truss member. Can this be done by selecting the member graphically and making it a truss member or do I have to go into the input file and identify it there?

You can do it either way. In the GUI, member truss assignment is under Modeling mode - General tab - Spec area.
