STAAD Pro 1

I have installed STAAD pro on a new PC and I am having problems viewing the 3D rendering of the structure. I can see the structure on the backround but there is alot of distortion up front.

I had a similar problem in the past but I cannot remember the fix.

Any help will be appreciated

I have the same problem.

This problem does not exist when using American Steel Profiles.

Whereas this problem exists when you are using Canadian Channels, Angles and HSS if you are using the latest build.

Staad has acknowledged this problem and are planning to release a fix for this in the next update (they said this two updates ago)

I am having the problem with all the profiles and material. It has to do with the Graphics card. I had the same problem in the past and I fixed it but I cannot remember what I did. It is very simple but....

If i find out I let you know.

You have to update your database file dbinterface.dll
Ask staad support for a updated file.

It has to do with the "Hardware Acceleartion".
Go to:
Right click
Properties
Display properties
Settings
Advanced
Troubleshoot
Hardware accelearation

Set the acceleartion somewhere between None & Full
None is not recommended because it will create problems with other software
