STAAD.Pro maintenance costs

Hi all

I'm curious about something.

Since Bentley bought REI, have you experienced a significant increase (> 100%) in your maintenance costs for STAAD.Pro?

None that I'm aware of. It was still around $800-$900 last I checked.

Over $1000/unit per year for every year you missed the upgrades. Assuming you are upgrading from 2004 or 2005 the maintaince cost will be more than the actual cost for a brand new 2007 version.

We are going back to GT STRUDL. A much better program and better people to deal with.

I think it is toooo expensives since I can never get them to answer my problems usind STAAD most notable is the program crashing.
