ST3 CAM relationship query from newbie

I'm in the process of learning ST3 after 10+yrs on SW. So far, so good. Some things I miss, but mainly struggling to find the darn buttons on the ribbon. Clearly sheet metal is very good in ST3... On to my question:

See the attached file. I'm trying to get a bushing to track in a slot. I used part of the form of the slot as the path. The bushing is following on the "wrong" (read undesired) side of the path.

How can I get it to flip to the correct side (in the slot)? Any recommendations appreciated. (I don't see a "directional" toggle for this command as there are in some ST3 commands.)

Welcome to Solid Edge. Are you willing to share the yellow profile with us? I can remodel it but I might miss some important geometry in your design which can cause it to act differently.

Right click on the cam relationship and select the flip option. Please see the attached screenshot.

Another tip, use the symmetric offset option when creating slots like these. See the attached screenshot.

Theodore, thanks for the reply and that was spot-on. Using the "Flip" command worked as advertised. I will now repair the forehead-sized impression in the adjacent office wall from yesterday.

Intuitively, that should either be called something else or placed somewhere else in the base command sequence (give it a button?), as it is a rudimentary control item, not a "follow-up" item. That's how I've mentally classified these sorts of RMB clicks. But maybe that's my fault.

Hello Ken,

I agree with you to a certain extent, but the flip option can also be used to change a mate relationship to a planar align relationship. If you have any other “head butting” problems, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Yes, I noticed and have used the Flip option up on the Command Bar for mating during "Assemble". Since it seems of equal importance for cam following at the time of initial creation, I was thinking it would good to be have it on that Command Bar, also.

Mostly thinking of continuity and workflow issues; why go to different location for the same function (or after it's initially built)?
