AOA,
currently redesigning sprinkler system for high rise building. What section of NFPA codes describes the pipe diametee w.r.t No of sprinklers attached on that pipe?????

About how many heads, sq ft, floors are you talking about

Nfpa 13 would like it hydraulically calculated most of the time

NFPA 13 Chapter 11 would be a good starting point.

There are old pipe schedules found in NFPA 13, that have pipe sizing based on number of heads. This may be what you are referring.

However, there is nothing that limits the number of heads on a line. If you can calc it, you can have as many as you can prove.
