could we have some of the solutions you use to modelize spotweld, rivets, bolts ... for the finite element static analysis -as in ANSYS or I-deas...)

Hi,
with specific to your query ,bolts,rivets,and spot
welding resist shear and tensile load so you can
use elements like rigid elements RBE2 or RBE3 depending
on situation in Ideas-meshing.hope it answers your
query.
