Hello,
Following advice is needed:-

1) If iam doing anaylses of a Concrete Short Spirial Column which is braced , what value of 'h' i have to use in M(min)= Pu(0.6 +0.03h) , here h is one side of column , as in case of Sqaure we can take 12inches if it is 12" x 12" but what we have to do if the column is Spirial.

2)Is it necessary that for gravity loads the column is always braced , can it be unbraced ?

3) if in case of unbraced long spirial columns the vaule of delta as given by ACI Code is less then ONE then what we have to use in thr formula :
delta = 1 / 1- Pu/0.75Pc should be greater then 1 but if it is less then one then.
